The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Showbouy Farms, 2020 overall best Twifo Atti-Morkwa District farmer who double as Afedzi D/A Primary School Headmaster, Mr. Isaac Agyiri has donate over Two Thousand Two Hundred (2,200) which worth Gh20,000 (200 million old Ghana Cedis) special seedlings to Twifo Atti-Morkwa district of the central region.
Mr. Isaac Agyiri made this special donation on the government Initiative Program to boost our forestry on the Green Ghana Day.
Mr. Isaac Agyiri present the special seedlings to
Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Education Directorate, he explain that the gesture was part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility in the area of agriculture to boost our agriculture sector as well as our forestry.
Among the seedlings he donated are palm nuts 600, orange 100, coconut 300, mango saloon 100, guava 100 and cocoa 1,000.
“The beneficiary of the seedlings he distributed to 20 schools in their District were; Afedzi D/A Primary School, Praso Methodist School, Nyenasi Catholic Basic ‘A’, Nyenasi Catholic Basic ‘B’, Adjatey Camp Basic School, A&B Basic School, Abodom D/A Basic School, Apostle Academy School, Ntafrewaso D/A Basic School, Darmang D/A Basic School and Kayireku D/A Basic.
Mr. Isaac Agyiri also donate some of the seedlings to Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Education Office, Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Health Directorate, Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Fire Service Head Office and Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Police Head Office.
Mr. Isaac Agyiri told the District that, they must to see how best the schools can make good used of the seedlings so that he can increase the seedlings next year.
Mr. A.M Awal Suhuyini who’s the District Coordinating Director received the seedlings on behalf of the District Education Director Mrs. Auqustina Attakorah thanked the CEO of Showbouy Farms, Headmaster of Afedzi D/A primary and the 2020 overall best district farmer Mr. Isaac Agyiri for the effort he has made to boost the agriculture sector.
Again urging the teachers to get into farming activities and also advise the farmers to be proud of their work.
