Ghana’s rich history at the FIFA World Cup is reflected in a select group of players who have delivered crucial goals for the senior national team, the Ghana national football team, on football’s biggest stage.

Across the nation’s appearances at the tournament, nine players have combined to score a total of 18 goals, underlining both moments of individual brilliance and collective resilience.

Leading the chart is Asamoah Gyan with an outstanding six goals, making him not only Ghana’s all-time top scorer at the World Cup but also one of Africa’s most prolific players in the competition’s history. His goals, spanning multiple tournaments, were instrumental in Ghana’s memorable runs, particularly the historic quarter-final finish in 2010.
