The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has unveiled plans to commission distinguished Ghanaian artists to exhibit their works at the country’s embassies and high commissions worldwide.

He disclosed this following a courtesy call by celebrated visual artist and architect Sharon Dede Padi, who recently earned a Guinness World Records title for creating the largest leaf print painting.

According to Mr. Ablakwa, the initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and creative brilliance on the global stage through art and visual storytelling.

“We are going to commission our celebrated Ghanaian artists to showcase their extraordinary talent at our embassies and high commissions across the world,” he stated.

The initiative is expected to boost Ghana’s cultural diplomacy by transforming diplomatic missions into dynamic spaces that embody the country’s artistic identity and creative ingenuity.

The announcement underscores the Ministry’s commitment to elevating Ghanaian talent internationally and positioning the nation as a thriving hub for creativity and innovation.
