Otto Addo Names 26-Man Squad for Austria and Germany Friendlies
Head coach Otto Addo has announced a 26-man squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany later this month.
The two matches are scheduled to take place in Europe, with the Black Stars facing Austria on March 27 in Vienna, before taking on Germany on March 30 in Stuttgart.
A major highlight of the squad is the inclusion of four debutants—Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Marvin Senaya, and Daniel Agyei—who have earned their first call-ups to the senior national team. Their selection reflects Addo’s efforts to strengthen the squad and assess new talent ahead of future international assignments.

The friendlies are expected to provide a stern test for Ghana, as both Austria and Germany boast strong European sides. For the Black Stars, the matches offer a valuable opportunity to build team cohesion, evaluate player performance, and fine-tune tactics.
Coach Addo is expected to use the games to strike a balance between experienced players and new entrants, as Ghana continues preparations for upcoming competitive fixtures.
Fans will be eager to see how the new faces integrate into the team, as the Black Stars aim to make a strong impression on the international stage.
