C/R:Man in his 50s allegedly murdered and dump on the roadside near a police barrier at Budumburam

A man believed to be in his 50s has been found dead under suspicious circumstances at Aprah Road, near a police barrier at Budumburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The lifeless body, which is yet to be identified, was discovered by residents who reportedly noticed several knife wounds and bruises on various parts of his body.
Preliminary observations have raised suspicions that the deceased may have been assaulted and killed elsewhere before his body was transported and dumped along the roadside.
The Assemblyman for Budumburam Electoral Area Hon. Emmanuel Dogbe says the discovery has sparked concern among residents, and he suspects foul play in the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
The police have since conveyed the body to the morgue for preservation and further examination as investigations commence to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the deceased.
Residents say this is not the first time something of that sort has happened and blame lack of street lights. They believe street lights will provide visibility so the perpetrators can be arrested.
