Saint George makes a comeback win in the Ethiopian Premier League with a goal by Defender Edwin Frimpong Manso.

On Tuesday, Ghanaian defender Edwin Frimpong Manso scored a goal for Saint George SA in the Ethiopian Premier League, as they emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Ethiopian Insurance Corporation FC. This win extended their lead at the top of the league to five points at the Dire Dawa International Stadium.

After conceding the opening goal to Simon Peter of Insurance, Saint George equalized ten minutes later thanks to a goal from Frimpong Manso who connected with a pass from midfielder Binyam Belay. In the 73rd minute, the home team completed the comeback with a goal from their leading scorer, Ismail Ouro-Agoro.

Throughout the match, Ghanaian duo Umar Bashiru and Habib Mohammed were in action for Insurance. Frimpong Manso’s goal takes his tally to four goals and one assist in 16 appearances for Saint George this season.
