In a heartwarming gesture of support, members of the “Bring Mahama Back (BMB)” movement have extended a helping hand to displaced families in the North Tongu constituency of the Volta Region. Led by Regina Obeng, the National Women’s Coordinator for BMB, the movement donated essential school supplies to two camps in Mempe housing families affected by displacement.

The donation included 500 customized exercise books, along with over 500 pens and pencils, aimed at supporting the educational needs of children within the camps. The gesture underscores the commitment of the BMB movement to not only advocate for political change but also to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing adversity.

Regina Obeng expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to assist the displaced families, emphasizing the importance of education in empowering individuals, especially during challenging times. She highlighted the unity and compassion exemplified by the BMB movement, stating,

We believe in the power of education to transform lives, and it is our duty to support these families in any way we can.”

The recipients of the donation, including families and children within the camps, expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the generosity shown by the BMB movement. Many emphasized the significance of the donated supplies in enabling children to continue their education despite the hardships they are facing.
