Zoomlion Ghana Limited has begun a disinfection exercise across some Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in the Central Region as part of efforts to improve sanitation and promote a cleaner environment.
The exercise, which forms part of the company’s sanitation interventions, is aimed at reducing the spread of diseases and improving hygiene conditions in public areas.
Personnel from Zoomlion have been deployed to disinfect selected facilities and spaces within various assemblies, using approved chemicals and equipment.
The intervention is expected to support local authorities in maintaining clean environments and strengthening public health measures across the region.
Officials from Zoomlion have reiterated the company’s commitment to working with assemblies and other stakeholders to address sanitation challenges and ensure healthier communities.
Residents have also been encouraged to support sanitation efforts by properly disposing of waste and maintaining cleanliness in their homes and surroundings.
