The parliamentary candidate hopeful for the NDC in the Tano South constituency of the Ahafo region, Mr. Charlse Asiedu has advised all NDC party members and communicators to try all avenues to preach the gospel about the party no matter their occupation.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa on High Radio Morning Show dubbed High Morning Breeze, Mr. Charles Asiedu bemoaned how some NDC members disguise themselves at their places of work as a result of being afraid of political witch haunting.
He emphasized that people give motives for their occupations as a reason preventing them from actively campaigning for the party where he denied those assertions indicating that being able to wholeheartedly communicate for your party at any level of your occupations and profession justifies your readiness to serve the party with humility hence the NDC party members and supporters must at all cost preach the gospel about the party to the citizenry without taking into consideration their occupation.
He said occupations must not deny you from serving the party wholeheartedly because a lot of personalities and various sensitive professions are openly involved in partisan politics to ensure their party is well sold to Ghanaians to accumulate more electorates for the party to win power hence the need for NDC members to intensify their campaign for the part at anywhere.
He noted that NPP since the 4th republic has gained popularity in the Tano South constituency making them rule for more years as compared to the NDC with no development under their administration.
Mr. Charles Asiedu insisted that Tano South is not a stronghold for the NPP despite the party’s longest-serving history explaining that the NDC has had their government given the mandate to also serve within the municipality for 3 terms hence it doesn’t warrant the NPP to describe Tano south Municipal as their stronghold.
He stressed that the NDC with their least term of governance within the Tano South municipal ensured massive infrastructural development and other social intervention projects that have lessened the plight of people in the Municipality. He described the legacy of NDC in the Tano South municipal as unprecedented.
