Kotoku Royals President Reveals Home Grounds to Open for Premier League Matches Soon

Linford Asamoah Boadu, the President of Premier League newcomers Kotoku Royals, has announced that their home grounds will be ready to host Premier League matches in just a few weeks. At the beginning of the season, Kotoku Royals had adopted the Cape Coast Stadium as their home grounds after the Akim Oda Stadium was deemed unsatisfactory for matches by the Club Licensing Committee of the Ghana FA. Currently, they share The Theatre of Dreams in Dawu with Dreams FC.

Boadu expressed his gratitude to the MP, community leaders, and individuals like Gaby Otchere Darko and Hon. Ursula Owusu for their immense support, which helped complete the construction of the new grounds. He also highlighted the benefits that the stadium would bring to the community, including inter-school games and events held by the Assembly.

Despite the delay, Boadu remains optimistic that Kotoku Royals will be able to play some of their matches at their new home grounds before the end of the season. The team is currently struggling in the Premier League standings, sitting at the bottom and facing the possibility of relegation.
