Engineers & Planners Co. Ltd. has announced plans to invest around $1.2 billion in its operations at the Tarkwa and Damang mines, aiming to boost production and expand capacity. As part of this investment, the company has sent thirty (30) semi-knockdown Caterpillar 785D dump trucks to its Tarkwa base, marking a significant upgrade to its mining fleet.

Since its entry into heavy-duty mining equipment in 2002, Engineers & Planners has steadily expanded its operations. In 2018, the company invested approximately $650 million to enhance its activities at Tarkwa and Damang mines. The new $1.2 billion investment underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to growth and operational excellence within Ghana’s gold mining sector.
