The Black Stars kicked off preparations for the final 2025 AFCON qualifiers with their first training session on Monday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium. Eight players, including deputy captain Mohammed Kudus, participated in the session as the team gears up for their critical matches.
Kudus was joined by international teammates Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Osman Bukari, and goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott, along with three Ghana Premier League talents—Emmanuel Antwi, Razak Simpson, and Isaac Afful. The session showcased the squad’s blend of seasoned players and promising local talent.
The full squad is expected to assemble by Tuesday morning, with Coach Otto Addo and his technical team set to lead another training session on Tuesday before the team departs for Luanda on Wednesday.
The Black Stars will face Angola on Friday, November 15, aiming to strengthen their position in the race for AFCON 2025 qualification. They will then return to Ghana to play Niger in their final Group F qualifier on Monday, November 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
