Head of the Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s New Media Team for the 2024 campaign, Krobea Kwabena Asante has taken a swipe at Yaw Buaben Asamoa over his attacks on the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
He is of the view that the former Member of Parliament for Adenta is bitter and therefore has decided to continuously attack the person of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia whose contribution made him an MP in Adenta.
In a post shared via social media, Krobea Kwabena Asante cautioned Yaw Buaben Asamoa to get his acts together because he thinks he is losing it because of bitterness.
His post read “Yaw Buaben Asamoa Esq. Wofa, you are losing it and I am sad. If you’ve left NPP let us be wai. Whether Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a PNC guy or NDC guy, we care less, as delegates we voted for him because he was loyal, hardworking and competent. Same person you keep denigrating worked the most for you in 2016 to be an MP.
He continued “You know what I’m talking about. Even in 2020, he had to stop scheduled trips in other regions to visit some difficult electoral areas in Adentan and Madina for you and Boniface. I was there and heard what the constituents said, but for Dr. Bawumia they wouldn’t have even listened to you.Wofa, you are becoming very bitter and it is affecting you. Wofa, focus on your campaign. I beg.Cheers!”.
Yaw Buaben Asamoa was a Member of Parliament for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the political party’s Communications Director during the first term of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He, however, has severed ties with the political party and joined the Movement for Change under the leadership of Alan Kyerematen.
