There have been growing social media campaigns targeted at making King Promise to win the ultimate ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
One of the strongest contenders to battle King Promise for the ‘Artiste of the Year’ plaque at the TGMA is Stonebwoy who has been calm amidst the ongoing campaign.
In a recent interview on Cape Coast-based Property FM, Stonebwoy was asked about his genuine chances of winning the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award.
He answered: “Amansan Krakye what do you also think about my chances of winning the Artiste of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards?
The Host told Stonebwoy “I think it’s like going on a race with Usain Bolt, you might all start at the same time but by the end of the race, he’ll emerge as the winner.
He “Then that’s exactly what you’ve said so I’ll gladly accept it as such if you think that’s what is going to happen at the end of the day
“I think you said the truth and you’ve not made a mistake at all so I will accept what you’ve said,” Stonebwoy added on the show.
When asked about the award he would love to win the most amongst his 15 nominations, he responded “As for my 15 nominations even if they think I’ve won all those categories I’ll be happy to go home with the awards”.
