After Medikal recently hosted and performed at his event at the 02 Indigo in London, most Ghanaians are debating about who can fill the O2 Arena to its full capacity.

Kofi Kinaata, one of the most successful Ghanaian musicians in recent times has waded into the argument as to whether he’ll be able to fill the O2 Arena.

The Highlife singer said on Property FM in Cape Coast that the assertion that if you’re unable to perform at the O2 Arena, it means you’re not doing well as a musician is wrong and unfortunate.

He observed “As for performing at the O2 and winning Grammys is a big target for a lot of people but it’s quite unfortunate for it to be like that.

“It’s like right now even if we’re in our own country doing music we ought to take it somewhere or be invited abroad to perform.

He added “If you are not invited to those places to perform it means you aren’t doing well and that’s very wrong I mean that place is also for some people there doing their own thing.

“So let’s also focus and do our own thing here and if it happens that we’re able to appear there fine because we didn’t even do it for them but it has managed to appear there”.
