Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has criticized her colleagues Kwame Nkrumah Tikisie and Abena Moet for their unprofessional behavior. The two Okay FM presenters were accused of shouting and making noise about any issue that comes up, hoping to gain favor from their superiors.
The brewing animosity and corporate hostility between Vim Lady and Nkrumah Tikesie, who both work at Despite Media’s Okay FM, have been ongoing for some time. Earlier, Nkrumah Tikesie had leveled accusations against Vim Lady for working online, saying she was not living up to expectations and was hosting shows outside her mandate.
The latest episode of Nana Ama McBrown leaving UTV and joining Onua TV/FM has sparked a new fight between the colleagues. Abena Moet and Kwame Nkrumah Tikese criticized McBrown for leaving Despite Media, but Vim Lady disagreed with them.
In response, Vim Lady described her colleagues as “disciples” who were always shouting to gain favor from the bosses. She advised them to develop “corporate manners” because their actions were bad for the image of Despite Media.
Vim Lady emphasized that a job is a contract to exchange skills and talent for a salary, and nobody is doing anyone any favors by employing them. She also pointed out that employees have the right to leave and join other companies, and it was just a job.
She urged Nana Ama McBrown to stop granting interviews about her former employers and to enjoy her new job. Vim Lady emphasized the importance of maintaining a good corporate image and urged her colleagues to behave more professionally.
In conclusion, Vim Lady’s criticism of her colleagues is a reminder that professionalism is key in the workplace. Employees should focus on delivering their core duties and avoid engaging in unprofessional behavior that could tarnish their company’s reputation.
