Joana Gyan, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central, has celebrated her recent court victory as a win for the people of Amenfi Central.
The High Court in Sekondi, led by Justice Gyan-Konto, lifted an injunction that had previously barred Joana Gyan from running in the 2024 election. This ruling now clears her to continue her campaign.
Speaking to the media, Joana expressed her happiness and gratitude. “I’m overjoyed and thankful to God for this positive outcome,” she said. “My new lawyers did a fantastic job in getting this resolved, and I thank them for their hard work. This experience has shown me that even close allies can sometimes be a challenge. My deepest thanks go to my supporters, the people of Amenfi Central, and the NDC party for standing with me. Now, we’re focusing on the campaign and moving forward.”
On social media, she shared her excitement, posting, “Victory for Amenfi Central!”
