Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been charged with two additional counts of rape, according to reports. The 32-year-old Ghanaian international is now facing an expanded list of allegations as legal proceedings continue.

Partey is scheduled to stand trial in November after previously denying accusations that he raped two women and sexually assaulted a third. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has since authorised two new counts of rape, bringing further scrutiny to the case.

He is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 13 March, in connection with the latest allegations.

During an earlier court appearance at Southwark Crown Court in September last year, Partey pleaded not guilty to five counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault. The case remains ongoing, and the player continues to deny all allegations.

The legal process will now move forward through the courts, where the charges will be examined and determined.
