Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Samira Bawumia has received a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of London after a 6 year rigorous studies.
The Second Lady took to her social media page to announce her graduation, expressing gratitude to her family and friends for the support and encouragement.
Describing her educational experience, she said it was an “incredible journey of learning while juggling work, family, and official duties”.
She urged her followers to be inspired to pursue their dreams irrespective of the challenges they are faced with.
Narrating the genesis of her journey, Mrs Bawumia wrote:
“A few years ago, with support and encouragement from family and friends, I took advantage of the Distance (Online) Law Degree Program offered by the University of London. Thankfully, I had the honour of graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree, last week, in spite of the numerous challenges Covid-19 presented.
The University of London Bachelor of Laws degree is an internationally recognised Degree with wide rating in its ability to develop a critical awareness of the common law legal tradition and apply problem-solving skills to a range of legal and non-legal settings.
