Residents of Wassa Adansi in the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality have been thrown into a state of shock and fear following a horrifying incident involving a young man identified as Yaw Brako, popularly known in the community as “2Cedis.”
According to information gathered from residents, the suspect allegedly attacked and beheaded his own mother under circumstances that are still unclear.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of the day, leaving residents terrified and emotionally devastated.
Eyewitnesses said the community woke up to screams and confusion as news of the disturbing incident spread rapidly across the area.
Many residents rushed to the scene in disbelief, describing the incident as one of the most heartbreaking and frightening occurrences ever witnessed in the community.
Some residents have called on the police and health authorities to conduct thorough investigations into the matter, while others suspect the young man may have been battling mental or emotional challenges before the incident.
However, authorities are yet to officially confirm the motive behind the alleged killing.
