Two Persons have been rewarded with Pragya motors following the historic victory of the NDC in the Dormaa East constituency .
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen during the Party’s Thanksgiving service last Sunday at Wamfie, Dormaa East District Capital, Hon. Ali Agyei Ibrahim, Bono Regional 1st Vice Chairman of the NDC stated that the two rewarded grassroots were Physically assaulted during the preparation towards elections on the December 7th last year leaving a significant injury that has affected their health status due to the degree of the assault stressing that the National Chairman of the party, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, along with the party executives, judiciously decided to provide the two young men with a Pragya to aid in their livelihood, as they are no longer able to undertake strenuous labor due to the extent of their injuries.
For his part, Bono Regional Minister Designate, Lawyer Joseph Addae Akwaboah, articulated that the NDC is a party focused on development, and thus Dormaa East will soon reap the benefits of the party’s developmental initiatives to foster the district’s growth. He conveyed gratitude to the constituents of Dormaa East for granting the party a decisive opportunity to serve, underscoring that President Mahama and the entire national leadership of the party will lend substantial support to Member of Parliament Hon. Rachel Owusuaa in ensuring the requisite development for the district is achieved. He urged all party members and constituents to rally behind their MP to assist her in meeting expectations.
Several party members and supporters conveyed optimism towards President John Dramani Mahama, urging him to assist in advancing the construction of their roads and the completion of the E-Block facility located in Danyame within the Dormaa Central Constituency. Additionally, some appealed to him to promote inclusivity to foster the nation’s development.
