Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Launches 24-Hour Economy Initiative

The Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, together with the Municipal Chief Executive, Philibert Selorm Fummey, and the Aburihene, Otobuor Gyan Kwedi II, has officially performed a symbolic sod-cutting ceremony for the implementation of the government’s 24-Hour Economy Initiative at Nsawam-Adoagyiri.
The ceremony marks the commencement of a project aimed at promoting economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and supporting businesses to operate around the clock in line with the government’s 24-hour economy policy.
Speaking at the event, MCE for Nsawam-Adoagyiri Philibert Selorm Fummey said the initiative is expected to create jobs, stimulate local economic development, attract investment, and improve the livelihoods of residents in the municipality.
He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the programme.

Also addressing the gathering, Abrui hene His Majesty Otobuor Gyan Kwedi II commended the government and the Assembly for introducing the initiative.
He described the project as a major step toward economic transformation and youth employment, and urged residents, especially young people, to take advantage of the opportunities it will create while supporting its successful implementation.
