Next NDC administration will arrest, recover and prosecute government officials who have defrauded the country – NDC Communicator

 

Communication Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who also serves as the Assembly Member for Antwirifo/Agyemankrom electoral area in the Dormaa Central constituency, Hon. Yaw Nsiah, has asserted that the forthcoming NDC administration under John Dramani Mahama will introduce a policy named ORAL (Operation Recover All Loot). This initiative will concentrate on the apprehension, recovery, and prosecution of any government officials who defrauded the nation during the Akufo Addo-Bawumia administration.

 

Speaking during a discussion on GIFTs FM Morning Show titled Anopa Bosuo, Hon.Yaw Nsiah emphasized that the NDC’s Operation Recover All Loot will streamline the investigation, prosecution, and recovery of assets obtained through corruption and its related activities perpetrated by officials and appointees of the current NPP administration.

 

Citing the 2022 Auditor General’s Report on COVID-19, the Assembly Member announced their intention to pursue the former health minister, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu, for misappropriation and misallocation of funds designated for combating the pandemic as indicated in the report emphasizing that the Heath Minister along with other government officials mentioned in the Auditor General’s Report, will face the full rigour of the law.

He urged the constituents of Dormaa Central to cast their votes for NDC’s John Kwame Adu Jack as their Member of Parliament in the upcoming general elections, emphasizing that a vote for the NPP in the Constituency might result in a by-election, given that corrupt officials are likely to face arrest under the next NDC administration which incumbent Dormaa Central MP won’t be exempted
