On the 25th of March 2023, Miss Yvonne Boateng celebrated her birthday in a unique and inspiring way. She chose to spend her special day with the orphans and needy children at the Oracle Village Foundation in Senya Beraku. This act of kindness and selflessness has left a lasting impression on the lives of the children.
Oracle Village Foundation is an NGO that provides Home Care Support for orphans, poor and needy children who would otherwise have their future and education curtailed without the commitment of the founder, Reverend Abeiku Okai, to helping meet the plight of the vulnerable in society.
Miss Yvonne visited the foundation in the company of her two friends, Mr Richard Dablah and Mr Freddy Appiah, as well as her gracious family and friends who, though couldn’t be present, supported her initiative with additional donations.
During her visit, Miss Yvonne did not only donate clothing, stationeries, and cash but also joined the children in dining, wining and dancing.
The joy on the children’s faces was infectious, and it was evident that this act of kindness would have a positive impact on their lives.
The occasion was hosted by the Oracle Village Foundation in partnership with Becky’s Foundation, founded by Mr. Seth Asiedu, whose passion for helping orphans and needy children never goes dim. Both Reverend Abeiku Okai and Mr Seth Asiedu expressed profound joy and appreciation for Miss Yvonne’s kind gesture.
The children also made a beautiful presentation to the “birthday girl” and prayed for her.
The event was graced and chaired by Nana Kojo Afo II, the chief of the Senya Ahunaku Akyempim Royal family.
It was truly an inspiring and heartwarming experience to see individuals come together to make a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate.
Miss Yvonne Boateng’s selfless act serves as an inspiration to us all to give back to our communities and make a positive impact on the lives of those around us.
