John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has linked the rising cost of food items to economic mismanagement by the Akufo-Addo administration.
In a recent Facebook post, Mahama expressed his commitment to reducing food prices if elected president of Ghana this year. He stated, “I have a clear plan to stop the daily increases in food and essential commodities caused by the government’s economic mismanagement. We must alleviate the hardships faced by our people and restore price stability.”
Mahama emphasized that his “Resetting Ghana Manifesto” outlines several key interventions aimed at revitalizing the economy and fostering growth.
