In a recent speech to executives of the Ayawaso North Constituency in Accra, General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), advised former President John Mahama to refrain from desperate tactics in his bid for re-election.

Rather than making accusations, JFK suggested that Mahama seek legal redress if he believes the government or its actors have acted inappropriately.

JFK emphasized the importance of focusing on the NPP’s superior record in governance and encouraging supporters to promote this message during the 2024 elections.

The comments were made in response to Mahama’s claims that the Akufo-Addo administration mismanaged the country and borrowed recklessly.
