Rapper Medikal born Samuel Adu Frimpng has finally revealed that his wife Fella Makafui was aware he was going to feature his former fiancé on his new song.
Medikal recently released a song titled “Cold and Trophies” which featured his ex- fiancé Sister Deborah.
The collaboration has since met a lot of criticism from both music critics and fans of both musicians, especially people who love Fella Makafui, the wife of Medikal.
Asked in an interview on Accra-based Kingdom FM whether his wife was aware of the collaboration Medikal said “Yeah, of course, I told her and she was Okay, she was cool.”
According to him, there is nothing wrong with him featuring his former fiancé on a song. He also thinks that featuring his ex-girlfriend on a song shouldn’t hurt anyone because it is strictly business and nothing else.
“I mean anyone around me was cool. I’m an artiste, this is my field of work, and this is where I work so if I’m doing something and I feel that this is the vibe I need, I don’t think it should be something that has to hurt someone,” Medikal said.
