Hearts of Oak’s coach, Slavko Matic, has identified the upcoming clash with Asante Kotoko as a make-or-break moment for his team’s chances of winning the league. After a recent run of poor form, with only one win in their last five games, Hearts of Oak have slipped to sixth place in the league standings. However, Matic remains positive about his team’s prospects and believes that a win against Kotoko could be a turning point in their season.

Matic is confident that his team can emerge victorious, provided the referees perform well on Sunday. He acknowledged that the referees could be a major factor in the outcome of the game, given the intensity of the rivalry between the two teams.

Hearts of Oak are currently eight points behind league leaders Aduana Stars and three points behind second-placed Asante Kotoko. Matic believes that a win against Kotoko would put his team in a strong position to challenge for the championship, with plenty of games left to play in the season.
