The Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has warned newly recruited health professionals who have been posted to health facilities across the country to report for duty by August 20, 2026, or risk losing their appointments.
The Minister says the directive is to ensure that all recruited personnel are available to support healthcare delivery across the country.
He urged the newly posted professionals to take their appointments seriously and complete all necessary processes to begin work within the stipulated period.
According to him, failure to report by the deadline could lead to the cancellation of their appointments and the opportunity being given to others.
The Ministry is expected to continue monitoring the deployment process to ensure health facilities receive the needed personnel.
