Government says it is working towards raising GH¢10 million by the end of 2026 to support the Ghana Agricultural Fund for Education and Transformation.
The fund is expected to provide sustainable financing for agricultural education, skills development and training programmes.
Officials say the initiative will help equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to improve productivity within Ghana’s agricultural sector.
The programme is also expected to strengthen the connection between education and modern farming practices as Ghana seeks to develop a more skilled agricultural workforce.
