Ghana is moving to establish a pharmaceutical industrial park as part of efforts to expand local medicine production and reduce dependence on imported drugs.

The initiative is expected to attract pharmaceutical manufacturers and encourage investment in Ghana’s health industry.

Government says the project will strengthen local production capacity, create jobs and improve access to essential medicines.

The move forms part of broader efforts to develop Ghana’s industrial sector and build resilience in the health supply chain.
