According to an exclusive report from GHANAsoccernet.com, Ghana’s national football team, the Black Stars, is set to play against Angola in a double-header during the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications. The first match will take place at Kumasi’s Baba Yara Stadium, with the second to follow in Angola.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the third matchday fixture will occur on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Baba Yara Stadium. Initially, the match was scheduled to occur at the Cape Coast stadium, as it was the only venue that had met CAF’s international match standards. However, after an inspection, the Baba Yara Stadium was approved to host international matches.

The Black Stars are currently leading Group E of the qualifiers with a 3-0 victory against Madagascar and a 1-1 draw against the Central African Republic. Their last match in Kumasi was the first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria in March of last year.
