Former Ghana star Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ has advised authorities to put in hard work to help restore the fortunes of Ghana football.
This follows the recent poor run of results suffered by various national teams including the Black Stars.
The four-time champions failed to win a single game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) essentially ruling them out of the main tournament which is set to take place in Morocco next year.
Speaking to Panafricafootball, the Black Stars legend emphasised the need for hard work to succeed.
“What it takes to be a great football team or a great football nation is to work hard and put your house into order to make sure that you get results. That is all that it takes to be a good team all over the world.”
Meanwhile the Black Stars will shift their focus to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers as they hope to bounce back as quickly as possible.
