President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has called on the Government of Ghana to take over arrangements for the funeral of the late Apostle Dr. Ing. Kwadwo Safo and honour him with a state funeral.
According to Mr. Cudjoe, the founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana made significant contributions to national development, particularly through his innovations, inventions, and commitment to Ghana’s advancement, making him deserving of a national tribute.
He argued that the late Apostle’s legacy goes beyond his family and should be recognised by the entire country.
Mr. Cudjoe further suggested that family members should put aside their differences and focus on giving Apostle Kwadwo Safo a dignified farewell. In a symbolic remark, he proposed that Sarah Adwoa Safo could serve as a waitress during the funeral, while Akofena could take up the role of an usher.
The IMANI Africa President stressed that the funeral should be centred on celebrating the life and achievements of the late Apostle rather than ongoing disagreements surrounding the arrangements.
Apostle Dr. Ing. Kwadwo Safo, a renowned Ghanaian inventor, industrialist, and religious leader, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and service to Ghana.
