Dormaaman Association Donate hospital Beds and other health care delivery equipment to Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital

The Dormaaman Association, a collective of Dormaa Ahenkro residents residing in the United Kingdom, has generously donated 12 hospital beds along with additional medical equipment to the Presbyterian Hospital in Dormaa Ahenkro, aiming to enhance their capacity for effective healthcare delivery.

In an interview with GIFTs News following the presentation, the Chairman of the Dormaaman Association in the UK, Mr. Yaw Kumi, along with the Welfare Chairman of the Association, Mr. Michael Adu Boahen, elucidated the objectives of the donation. They indicated that this benevolent act was intended to support the hospital in streamlining healthcare services to enhance the quality of care provided. Mr. Yaw Kumi revealed that the expenditure for procuring the donated item is estimated to exceed Ghc50,000.

Building upon the chairman’s remarks, the welfare chairman reiterated the dedication of Dormaa’s residents to actively participate in the town’s development, hence the donations. He expressed optimism that the equipment would significantly aid the hospital and implored the hospital authorities to utilize them effectively to fulfill their intended purposes.

 

Receiving the items on behalf of the Hospital Management, Mr.Kofi Adusah, Head of Administration at the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital, conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the Dormaaman Association in the UK for their generous support in safeguarding the health and well-being of the residents of Dormaa Ahenkro and its neighboring communities.

He stated that the hospital’s administration will make optimal use of the equipment and foster a culture of maintenance to prolong their lifespan, thereby ensuring the facility’s capacity to deliver high-quality healthcare.
