DIARIES OF HON.FRANK ANNOH-DOMPREH
Sanitation is one of the top most priority of NPP government and more importantly Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh,
MP for Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency. The Goal 6 of UN-SDGs enjoins government and stakeholders to Ensure Availability and Sustainable Management of Water and Sanitation for All.
As an *Environmentalist and Advocate* for the UN-SDG Goal 6, the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri and the Majority Chief Whip, *Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh today, 9th March, 2023 commissioned 10 Seater W/C Toilet Facility and handed over to Nsawam Presbyterian Basic Schools for use*. As part of his Environmental policy, resolved to build many Toilet Facilities for communities and Schools aiming at promoting sanitation in his Constituency.
In attendance were, Rev. Charles Kusaah (Dist. Pastor- Emmanuel Congregation), Isaac K. Buabeng-MCE, Francis Acquah Rockson (NPP Chairman), Stanley A.Somuah (Ist Vice Chairman), Mabel Mantebea (Headteacher-Presby School), PTA Chairman, SMCs and NPP party faithful.
Nsawam Presby Basic School has a population around 1100 students with 50 teachers without a proper place of convenience, The MP made the promise to build the toilet facility for the school during his routine visits to schools in the constituency for first-hand information and *identified that the school needed the facility to ease congestion, prevent truancy, and eradicate open defecation.*
Hon. MP, reiterated his commitment and support to his constituents. He promised to leverage on the Majority Chief Whip position to impact lives and bring more development to the Constituency.* The Member of Parliament expressed his excitement on the show of love and appreciation from management of Nsawam Presby Basic School.
He advised constituents to be cultural tolerant and avoid tribal bigotry to help the NPP party break the 8yrs cycle.*
Hon.Dompreh re-echoed the numerous projects secured for commencement hopefully this month ie Nsawam Hospital Maternity Block, Nsawam Ultra-modern Market and the 20km Asphalt Overlay.
He admonished School Management to maintain the facility for its longevity. Hon. Dompreh intends to build four (4) new toilets facilities this year to augment the existing ones.
He promised to support the school with 200 Bags of cement and help them re-roof the school building in a gradual manne*. However, he told the headteacher without mincing words that the School BECE Performance should be improved next year.
The Headteacher and SISO (C/S) were thankful and grateful to Hon. MP for the massive investment in Nsawam Presby Basic school over the years.
