A woman in her early 50s was beaten mercilessly at Agona Nyarkrom for allegedly having an affair with a married man.
Reports by Channel 247 News correspondent Yaw Boagyan indicate that the victim, Patricia Aidoo, was involved in an affair with a married man in Agona Nyarkrom, Agona West District, Central Region.
Residents who knew about the affair tipped off the man’s wife, who stormed to the victim’s location and attacked her without provocation.
The man is a teacher in the community, and the victim reportedly visited him at the school—prompting locals to alert his wife.
The wife rushed to the school, found the victim there, and beat her severely.
The victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The case has been reported to the Agona police for investigation, the suspect has been arrested and is assisting investigation.
