The meeting was held as part of BPA’s ongoing efforts to support education in its project-affected communities.

Since it began on a pilot basis in 2019, the scholarship scheme has provided support to students from the Bui enclave who show strong academic ability but face financial challenges. So far, more than 84 students have benefited from the programme, with 17 completing tertiary education in fields such as Information Technology, Nursing and Engineering.

Beneficiaries must come from the four traditional areas within the Bui enclave namely, Banda, Jama, Bole and North Mo.
