Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo Baah has been laid to rest in a solemn and emotional funeral ceremony attended by family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers.
The 42-year-old actress, who died on May 24 after a two-year battle with cancer, received a heartfelt farewell on Saturday, August 8, 2026, as members of Ghana’s entertainment industry gathered to honour her memory.
Among the notable personalities who attended the ceremony were actresses Yvonne Nelson and Jackie Appiah, as well as actor and politician John Dumelo, who joined other mourners to pay their final respects.
A touching moment at the funeral was when musician Choirmaster performed the traditional breaking of marriage vows. The emotional act left him visibly overwhelmed as he struggled to come to terms with the loss of his wife.
