Radio personality Adakabre Frimpong Manso has disclosed that Akua Donkor was diagnosed with respiratory challenges before her transfer to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital. Although he did not specify the exact nature of her illness, he mentioned that the Nsawam Government Hospital referred her due to their inability to manage her condition.
Akua Donkor was transported to Accra in an ambulance and was receiving treatment at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital until her passing, which occurred just ten minutes before 10 p.m. on October 28, 2024.
Her political party is expected to release a statement addressing the loss, outlining steps for the upcoming 2024 elections, and sharing plans related to her funeral arrangements.
