The Management of Abaasa Technical Institute in the Central Region has issued a stern warning to some unscrupulous youth in the town who have been allegedly selling marijuana to the students.

The school authorities have accused these individuals of providing the narcotic substance to the students under the guise of helping them concentrate on their academic work.

During a Traditional Council Meeting attended by Chiefs and other stakeholders in the community, the Disciplinary Committee Chairman of Enyan Abaasa Technical Institute, Mr. David Edumadze, condemned the practice and stated that anyone caught engaging in such behavior will face serious consequences.

Mrs. Wilson urged parents to prioritize their children’s education and support the school in any way they can.

Furthermore, Mrs. Wilson called on the Chiefs, Stakeholders, NGOs, and Private Individuals to contribute to the development of the school by providing amenities such as toilet facilities, adequate dormitories, classroom blocks, school buses, and other resources that can help improve the students’ learning experience.
