Thiago Silva, a defender for CHELSEA, poked fun at EA Sports FC 24 after learning of his revised in-game rating.

When the 38-year-old learned that his rating had dropped from 86 to 84 ahead of the new release, he made the remark that engineers were “watching football with their eyes closed.”

Silva was dissatisfied with his EA Sports FC 24 rating.

The Chelsea defender is rated at 84.

He said on the Premier League’s official YouTube channel: “They’re not watching football, they’re watching the games like this [with their eyes closed].”

“I think that obviously offensively I can improve because I didn’t get a single goal last year,” he continued when asked about his qualities.

Since I play solid defense, I believe I can enhance my attacking this year.

At the end of this month, EA Sports FC, the replacement for the beloved FIFA gaming series, will be available.

The first player ratings have already been released, with Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City receiving the highest scores (91 each) among Premier League stars.

Christopher Nkunku is the highest-rated player for Chelsea, followed by Reece James and Silva, both of whom have ratings of 84.

The EA ratings for the majority of players have significantly decreased as a result of the Blues’ 12th-place performance in the Premier League last year.

The only other Chelsea players to receive a rating higher than 80 are Moises Caicedo, Ben Chilwell, and club-record acquisition Raheem Sterling.

This season has already gotten off to a poor start for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

With only four points from as many games, they are currently in 12th place.
