Following his shocking statement on Sunday, Jadon Sancho could move to Saudi Arabia, according to Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand.
The 23-year-old former Borussia Dortmund player blasted Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag on social media after the Dutch coach claimed Sancho was left off his squad due to “his performances in training.”

The English forward retaliated by declaring the remarks to be “completely untrue,” adding that he had been used as a “scapegoat for a long time.”
After the verbal altercation, Sancho’s departure from the team might be close at hand.
However, because the transfer market shut last week, he cannot join another European team until January.
And 44-year-old Ferdinand thinks Saudi Arabian clubs could profit from that because their window is still open till Thursday.
“There’s no way Jadon is putting out a statement like that if he hasn’t, in his own eyes, performed well,” he stated in a video posted to his FIVE YouTube account.
“On his chart, Jadon, it says, ‘I’ve trained okay. However, the manager has a set of expectations.
“At this point, there is only one possible outcome. Two ways, actually.
“Saudi Arabia is the only window that is open. Or you sit on the sidelines or are excluded from the team for the remainder of the year.

Prior to Sancho’s Instagram statement, a shocked Ferdinand also addressed Ten Hag’s remarks regarding the player.
Being criticized for your performance during practice is arguably one of the most embarrassing things that can be stated about a player, he said.
“If it weren’t for my pride and ego, you could have said a lot of negative things about me, but I didn’t want you to doubt my professionalism.
“So, for him to be doubting his professionalism, both openly and, by the way, this is nothing new from Erik ten Hag. When publicly criticizing players, he did this with Rashford and Garnacho. And the two of them have responded to him.
“Sancho has yet to exhibit the proper response and the genuine response consistently over time. Therefore, the manager must devise a strategy to extract anything from him.
“At the same time, it’s a two-way street,” he continued. The player must provide the manager with material to work with.
“Me personally and many of the players I played with would feel humiliated if a manager had to persuade or manipulate them to perform at their best. Your pride and application ought to be at position No1.
You shouldn’t have to be persuaded to participate regularly in training. That makes you proud personally. That is what you do every day. Get to the practice field, put on your boots, and work hard every day. Man, that is the standard.
In Man Utd’s first three Premier League games, Sancho played off the bench without contributing to a goal.
But his future is uncertain as a result of his exclusion from the team in the 3-1 loss to Arsenal.
