The Ghana Education Service has activated the WAEC portal for the 2026 Senior High School placement exercise, giving schools a four-day window to upload students’ selection data.
According to the Ghana Education Service, the portal opened from Monday, August 24, to Thursday, August 27, 2026, for heads of Junior High Schools to capture and upload candidates’ school choices.
The exercise is part of preparations towards the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) for candidates who completed the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
GES has directed school authorities to ensure that students’ information and selections are accurately captured within the given period.
Education officials are expected to monitor the process closely to ensure a smooth placement exercise and reduce errors during the selection process.
