Captain Smart, an NDC parliamentary aspirant for the Gomoa West Constituency, has outlined a 10-phase campaign strategy as he seeks the support of delegates ahead of the party’s parliamentary primaries.
Speaking during an engagement with delegates and residents, Captain Smart expressed his appreciation for the support and commitment shown towards his vision, saying he never imagined meeting such brilliant and dedicated individuals who would help him achieve his goals.
“I knew I had people to help me achieve my goals, but I never imagined meeting all these brilliant and fantastic people,” he said.
He announced that the Gomoa Mankessim project will commence today, Monday, July 27, adding that the clinic, when completed, will be named in honour of President John Dramani Mahama.
Captain Smart also revealed plans to construct a clinic at Sinbrofo, which he said will be named after the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
He assured the people of Gomoa West that he remains committed to serving their interests and will not disappoint them.
“Because of the love the people of Gomoa West have shown me, I promise I will never let them down,” he stated.
According to him, before the NDC parliamentary primaries, his team will begin commissioning projects across the constituency as part of efforts to highlight their commitment to development.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Gomoa Tarkwa has appealed to delegates to unite and support Captain Smart, urging them to put aside discrimination and work together to vote for a candidate who can bring the needed development and support to the people.
The chief also raised concerns about an abandoned toilet facility located in the bush, describing it as a death trap. He said at the appropriate time, Captain Smart would be taken to the site to assess the situation and help find a lasting solution.
He called on all delegates and residents to prioritize unity and the collective development of Gomoa West, as the constituency prepares for the upcoming political contest. Captain Smart’s campaign, he said, is focused on bringing infrastructure, improved services, and renewed hope to the people.
