The Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), Professor Nana Ama Brown Klutse, has called on young members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain united, disciplined, and committed to promoting the achievements and vision of the Party as it works to create greater opportunities for the youth.
Addressing members of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) during the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Central Regional TEIN at the KAAF University campus in Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba, Professor Klutse urged young party activists to refrain from attacking Party leaders and instead channel their energies into constructive engagement and positive advocacy.
According to her, while many young people are understandably eager to secure employment and improve their livelihoods, President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of the NDC remain deeply committed to implementing policies and programmes that will expand opportunities for the youth.
She assured the students that the concerns of young people are not being overlooked and emphasized that the Party recognizes the critical role the youth play in national development and the future growth of the NDC.

“The future is bright for young people within the NDC. Opportunities will continue to emerge, and it is important that we remain united, focused, and supportive of the leadership that is working tirelessly to improve the lives of Ghanaians,” she noted.
Professor Klutse encouraged TEIN members and young party activists across the country to become ambassadors of the Party’s values and achievements, stressing that positive messaging and responsible political engagement are essential to strengthening public confidence in the NDC.
She further appealed to the youth to exercise patience and maintain faith in the leadership of President Mahama and the Party, expressing confidence that ongoing efforts to address youth unemployment and create sustainable economic opportunities would yield significant results.
Looking ahead to the 2028 general election, the EPA Boss challenged TEIN members in the Central Region to sustain the momentum and dedication that contributed to the Party’s success in the 2024 elections.
She commended the sacrifices, commitment, and energy of TEIN members and urged them to continue mobilizing support on their respective campuses while nurturing the next generation of NDC leaders.
The event brought together several prominent NDC figures, including former Acting Central Regional Secretary Kofi Matthew, Gomoa East Member of Parliament Hon. Desmond De-Graft Kwasi Paitoo, and other leading members of the Party in the Central Region.
The anniversary celebration served not only as a reflection on three decades of TEIN’s contribution to the NDC but also as a platform to inspire and prepare young party activists for greater responsibilities in the years ahead.
