Felix Kwakye Ofosu has stated that the proposed Anti-LGBTQ bill should not be considered the most important concern for Ghanaians at this time.

According to him, although the bill has generated significant public debate, it does not rank as the number one priority for the majority of citizens.

Speaking on the matter, he emphasized that there are more pressing national issues that require urgent attention, including economic challenges, job creation, and the general welfare of the people.

He argued that while discussions on the bill are valid, policymakers must focus on addressing the immediate needs of citizens, particularly in areas that directly impact livelihoods.

Mr. Kwakye Ofosu’s comments come amid ongoing national conversations surrounding the Anti-LGBTQ legislation, which has sparked mixed reactions across the country.

The bill has drawn both support and opposition, with some advocating foir its passage on cultural and moral grounds, while others have raised concerns about human rights and national priorities.

His remarks add to the broader debate, highlighting the need for government and stakeholders to balance legislative actions with the socio-economic concerns of the population.
