Kasoa has often been in the news for the wrong reasons, but there is now a conscious effort to change this narrative. This includes organizing social gatherings that bring commuters and residents together to promote peaceful coexistence.
In line with this, Dollarman Roofing Enterprise is organizing a football gala for drivers and abattoir workers to raise awareness about how united and peaceful Kasoa is.
One of the organizers, Mr. Charles Gyandoh, explained that the gala is meant to bring the community together and showcase the positive side of Kasoa. He said the town has often been misunderstood, and this initiative seeks to highlight its vibrant spirit.
Solomon Paa Kwesi Idan also an organizer, added that the gala feature Sawmill Operators, Drivers Association, Store Boys, Abattoir workers, etc. He expressed hope that, the event would foster unity, strengthen community ties, and help change how Kasoa is perceived.
