The annual Kwahu Easter Festival has gained international recognition, presenting significant opportunities for economic growth and youth empowerment in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview, the CEO of Azmera and Adontenhene of Mpraso, Nana Krobea Asante, emphasized the importance of the Kwahu Business Forum as a platform for job creation and business development among the youth.

According to her, young people must draw inspiration from successful business figures such as Sickens Pant and Enest Chemist, who have made remarkable strides in entrepreneurship.

She noted that the Kwahu Business Advocacy initiative, together with the Business Forum, has opened doors for young entrepreneurs to explore opportunities, network, and grow their businesses.

She further stressed that success is not just about time equating to money, but about perseverance, hard work, and determination in life.

Kwahu, a region widely known for its strong trading culture, continues to produce outstanding entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to job creation and economic development in Ghana.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Kwahu Asaaka and Chief of Staff to the Kwahu Traditional Council, Nana Somoah Abrapong III, highlighted the cultural and historical importance of the Easter celebration.

He explained that the festival was instituted by the forefathers and has evolved over the years—from local concerts and street jams into an internationally recognized event.

He commended both Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and John Dramani Mahama for their contributions toward promoting the Kwahu Business Forum and supporting the celebration of Easter.

However, he appealed to the government to urgently rehabilitate roads in the area, particularly the Afram Plains road, to enhance agribusiness and improve accessibility.

He expressed optimism that improved infrastructure would elevate the Kwahu Easter Festival to even greater heights.
