A 49-year-old man has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with a viral video that contained threats directed at High Court Judge, Justice Patricia Quansah. The suspect, identified as John Kwabena Owusu Ansah, was apprehended on Thursday, March 27, 2026, at his hideout in Antoakrom, Ashanti Region, following a thorough intelligence operation.
The video, which circulated widely, included threatening remarks, abusive language, and serious allegations accusing Justice Quansah of criminal behavior, raising alarms about her safety and the integrity of the judiciary.
The arrest was made by the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team after an extensive period of monitoring and investigation. The suspect is currently in police custody and is assisting with the ongoing investigation. He is expected to face court proceedings soon.
